Theatre tours

I’ve been organising custom-made theatre tours for groups in London for over twenty years.

The tours include visits to the West End, the National Theatre and the fringe, backstage tours, workshops and talks from people working in the industry and a walking tour around Shakespeare’s old haunts in the City and Bankside, led by my good self.

I’ve been steeped in theatre throughout my (long) life. I spent the first twenty years of my working life as an actress in the UK and in Australia. Since then I’ve been a script editor, a playscout, a literary manager of theatre writing competitions, director of a children’s theatre group and a lyricist. I have a Masters degree in Text & Performance from Birkbeck College and RADA and I also teach and lecture in theatre part-time to overseas students at Kingston University. My interests in particular include changes I’ve witnessed in theatre practice and in audiences throughout the decades, theatre history (which also feature in my novels) and its archaeology.
